This is the International Observe the Moon Night, meaning that the majority of the viewing will be aimed at the Moon 🌙

We are happy to announce the team of Dr. Ridwan Sakidja, Matthew Bruenning, Gaige Riggs, Anika Tabassum, & Md Zoheb Ullah Sohel, in collaboration with Dr. Andrew Duff (STFC-University of Cambridge), are among the 15 finalists in the Airbus x BMW Group Quantum Computing Challenge.

The team’s focus is on utilization of quantum computing to simulate the physical and chemical properties of novel smart coatings, with applications to aerospace and automotive industries.
