Did some more Akali testing yesterday.
Some notes:
- The best card in the deck was Akali when empowered. I feel if I can keep her in base I’m def winning.
- Shuriken Flip is broken but I feel we do need more movement spells so considering either the 2 cost ready or Perfect Execution.
- Considering playing either grim to save the Akali or just playing more Akalis in main.
- I did test Jhin as well and every time I had him it was very underwhelming.
- Stella is broken but I think everyone knew that.
- I actually tried a list without Void Seeker, but after seeing what Akali can do, Im going to try it next time.
- Back Alley Bar is cute but don’t think it’s needed. Forbidden Waste and Void Gate are way better. Third one could be Arenas or Seat.
Kenny Omega's kickout at 1 works because he uses it when the crowd genuinely believes the match is over, when the finish feels tangible.
Most wrestlers do it as part of a late-match sequence that immediately leads to a double down or another exchange, making the kickout feel like just another spot with no real consequence.
Also, there's always an emotional reason behind it. A justification for his pride not letting him stay down.
Don’t quote me on it and I hope this tweet gets lost but I’ll give away a Vendetta box if I hit 10k followers BEFORE vendetta releases.
( it’s a BIG goal. )
I also have three spiritforged boxes and might give one of those away in the near future, too!

Sami Zayn crashes out after losing the Undisputed Title to CM Punk:
“After 24 years of crawling for every inch — after I finally get it…9 days?! That piece of sh*t can walk back in here after not being here for months? That motherf*cker.”
Hey Riftbounders! Wanted to give a heads-up on an upcoming Set 4 ban. With Chaos + Order possible now, Stealthy Pursuer from Origins enables a 3-card infinite. We’re not opposed to infinite combos by default - but after internal testing, this one warrants a proactive ban. 1/3
