A 26-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the murder of an e-hailing driver in Berea, Johannesburg.

The suspect was apprehended at Jabulani Hostel, Soweto, following a joint operation by JMPD TRU and SAPS.

An unlicensed firearm was seized during the arrest. The suspect is facing charges of murder and is expected to appear in court soon.
