The deep respect she commanded from clinical colleagues has been an inspiration. She leaves behind a legacy of knowledge and mentorship that will continue to guide generations of pathologists.
May she rest in peace. 🕊️💐
Sad to hear of the passing of Dr. Anita Borges. A leader, advocate & teacher, I remember her teaching surgical pathology is the interpretation of persistent histopathological artifact. Her teaching sessions shaped generations of pathologists. Her wisdom & legacy live on. 🕊️💐
While I was a resident training at TN Medical College and Nair Hospital, Mumbai, my post graduate mentor once mentioned Dr. Borges was detail oriented right from when she trained in pathology at the same institute, small example of standards madam set that helped me in my career.

Congratulations to @UdohAgnes, from @UTMB_Pathology, for receiving the Resident Advocacy Development Award! This prestigious award, funded by PathPAC's PEF fund, allows outstanding residents to travel to the #HODPLS25 to gain hands-on advocacy experience.
The gap between inflation & Medicare payments to pathologists is now 31%. CAP members are sending this message to all members of Congress this morning via a special edition of @washingtonpost on Day 3 of #HODPLS25. #FixMedicareNow
