@FeedTheSpud We were sponsors for team captain and proud to support the team, but it was shocking at the end of a successful season to see the @ArgyleWFC team decimated and treated so disrespectfully, with the inevitable outcome -one humiliating defeat after another.

Our statement in support of the players (now sadly former players) of @ArgyleWFC after their curt dismissal by email yesterday from the chief exec.

5 The Argyle women's team, deservedly so, are part of that family too.
That is why we stand appalled at the callous treatment meted out to them, and ask the club to issue a full apology to the players, and renew the commitment to promoting rather than diminishing womens football.

PASALB STATEMENT
1 PASALB have been the proud sponsor of Panagiota Papaioannou for the last 8 seasons, and our association supports the women’s and men’s team.
We are disgusted by the shabby treatment of the women’s team by PAFC at the end of the season….

4 PASALB are loyal supporters of Plymouth Argyle, but we cannot stand silently by when injustice and poor communications tarnish the reputation of the club that we love.
As London supporters affiliated to the club, we are part of the Argyle family….
