Our Vice President, Angel Bashyal, delivered a talk to an audience of over 200 participants from six different continents at the IAU386 symposium in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The talk focused on the socio-economic context of Nepal in relation to dark sky 🔭 🪐 opportunities. #iau386

…During this project at Rukum, I wouldn’t lie-there were times we wanted to sleep after 12-14 hrs of walking but seeing the excitement on their face and their eyes lit up, we just couldn’t. The village, which normally sleeps at 8 pm, stayed up till 1 am with us.
