Look. I’m nearing 7 decades of life. I put in my academic work, my 40+ years of career work, saw many a thing, and now I’m imagining the worlds I want to see. Listen. I’ve said it before, but here goes. Virtually all good writers use Ai as a tool. It’s in your auto editors such as Grammarly, PWA, AutoCrit. If you’re not using some tools, I’d say you’re working hard and not smart. I know some writers have blocked me for saying it: C’est la vie. You do you. However, this #ShyGirl kerfuffle is not the same. I have lots of questions. Lots.

This alleged Ai cancelled book has me totally confused. She had 3500 reviews? I’m probably Aspie tunneling, but where are her beta readers to defend her? Where is her editor? A thousand people see my work before it’s published, in a dozen or more iterations. Where are her notes? Her MS drafts? I’ve got scene edits by the hundreds. If I ever got accused, it’d be a snow storm of paper (digital and otherwise). Her cover picture was taken from Pinterest? What IS HAPPENING HERE?!?
