We got word about a kitten who had collapsed in a trench nearby, so off we went. We found this little boy limp and in pain, with a visible open wound on his back leg. He didn’t hiss or meow—just let me carry him without a fight.

It’s been raining heavily that stalled our trip to the vets but this is him. It’s all clear now and we are on the way to have him seen….his wound is festered in a way and he is very anemic….he was also sneezing through the night but had a heating pad. Wish us luck !

Meet Button 💔🐾
Button was surrendered simply because she “wasn’t wanted anymore.” When she arrived, but of her fur were matted, and she had a small wound on her side. She wasn’t eating well, so we took her to Vetluv for a check-up —and what they found broke our hearts

Under the matted fur were severe wounds. The vet believes they were caused by blunt object trauma, with injuries on her rib cage and heel matching the shape of a rounded object. Several maggots had already infested the wounds.
