#UnpopularOpinion #265. Young people especially 25-35. You’re in a very productive but challenging age. Delay gratification. Yes, you want your be happy. But, delay extravagance in whatever form. Money wasted will never be recouped. Make money but count yourself broke! I guarantee, those ‘chopping’ your money now, will not be part of your life 10 years & beyond. Save for the life you so desire with your(future) family. Life will be more meaningful. Don’t forget to put God first. Pray & listen to his Grace.

WHILE YOU'RE CHASING YOUR DREAMS, OTHERS HAVE ALREADY CAUGHT THEIRS: I am seated in a lounge somewhere near the Atlantic Ocean, handling special duties. As I write a paper on my laptop to meet deadlines, I notice a beautiful lady in her late 50s beside me, relaxing and playing games on her tablet. Suddenly, I realize that we all have different issues and pursue different things at different times.I wish I could also relax and enjoy a game, but it is impossible for me. Every second counts. This has taught me an important lesson: while some people are chasing their dreams, others already caught theirs. While you may be studying and striving to achieve your academic goals, others have already reached theirs—perhaps their basic minimum is enough for them. This should never deter you from your pursuits. As we hustle through life, we must not envy those who are already successful, gifted , celebrating anniversaries, driving nice cars, or living in beautiful homes etc. We are all wired and blessed differently, at different stages of our journeys, with different priorities. It is important to recognize and respect that. Each of us has unique aspirations, and our paths cannot be identical. Young people, as you study, plan, and work hard, remember that someone else has already achieved the goals you are chasing. As you struggle to buy your first car, plot of land, pay tuition, marry, build your home, or start a business, someone else is already successful in those areas. They may not have it all- but they are fine & satisfied by all standards. This should inspire you, not discourage you. All those successful people you see started small. They walked on foot, went without food. They were used as good examples of poverty on their village . It is only a matter of time. You will also achieve your goals in your own time. Do not resent successful people. Do not insult them. Do not spread lies about them—they didn't take shortcuts or go under water or sleep with their bosses to get promoted. Many are authentic- they worked hard for their success. Do not even compare yourself to them. You are gifted differently and have the capacity to be more successful than the people you envy. We have to normalize success. We must celebrate successful people, not turn them into targets for our frustrations. They are not the reason you are suffering. Similarly, those who are successful should not look down on others who are still striving. We must learn to coexist and support each other as we wait to succeed in our own time. Our dreams and paths are different. Back to my laptop to conclude my paper as my neighbor enjoys her game. Oh wait a minute , she has now switched to watching a movie. This is life. Come to think of it, or maybe I preferred relaxing by writing this experience rather than playing a game or watching a movie . It may also be an issue of preferences & priorities that come with the different stages/age of life. Go forth and achieve greatness. Your time is now. Let others also enjoy their sweat/success unapologetically.
