Drogba must have smoked Swahili weed. Deliberately killing a fellow African is worse than anything that happens on the pitch. South Africans chase out foreign business owners, seize their shops, and you act like itโs normal. Drogba, explain this to us. I donโt support division and I love Africa, but South Africa has gone too far. Their actions are tearing Africa apart.
@FcbShedy@ProfDNgong Unless I am bewitched, there is no way I could support the xenophobes' team who have dehumanised other Africans including killing them.
@nyannthierry Ronwen Williams should also use his platform to speak on the xenophobic attacks on Africans by South Africans and condemn the act; Banter reasons aside, SA has lost a lot of support from fellow Africans due to the xenophobia issue. He can't pretend to not know this.
Actions have consequences.
I have always supported African teams in major tournaments, and I have South African friends.
But it is disturbing how fellow Africans were killed, maimed, humiliated, and stripped of their dignity in the name of xenophobia in the hands of Black South Africans.
Enough is enough.
We will not forget.
Nigeria played a significant role in supporting the struggle for Black freedom in South Africa, yet many of our people were met with hostility and violence. Respect must be reciprocal. African unity cannot thrive where xenophobia is tolerated.
