@blairadowler I’ve had an interest in social media and digital marketing before I started the course. I wouldn’t ever analyze it very deeply or think about why the marketing was the way it is but now I tend to think deeper about any of marketing I see.
@jarodhodge7@blairadowler@SandwichUWV The only thing they gain from this is the name recognition. But still this is rough to see and definitely pushes more people away than it’s worth imo.
@blairadowler I think maintaining some degree of control is very important. McDonalds has done well with #meetthefarmers campaign but failed miserably with their #McDStories. #mktg475

@CaidenHeck@blairadowler Reminds me of someone else I follow lol. But seriously they are eye catching at the very least. Sometimes a gif is all you need.
@blairadowler I like the Q&A type of threads. I feel like it gives a good dose of interactivity while not losing control of what’s going on. If you are with an expert in something or just and interesting person it can make for a great collaboration as well! #mktg475
@HunterT11927524@blairadowler@LilNasX#mktg475 I agree Lil Nas had an absolutely killer campaign leading up to his song hitting the radio. And it’s now the biggest single of all time.
@PArneault@blairadowler@Wendys#mktg475 I think @Wendy's twitter usage is the perfect example of a brand finding the right platform and using the right voice to do so. Plus it's just a great laugh some days and that really helps to make you memorable
@PArneault@blairadowler@Wendys I agree Wendys is one of the better social media accounts. They are always using humor that consumers can relate to. #mktg475
@PArneault@blairadowler@Wendys My favorite was the time they brought back spicy nugs if they got 2 million likes on their tweet. It was such a good idea and I was so hyped 🤩 #mktg475
