Dan has been in South Africa at the World Masters Regatta where he won gold in the Masters C singles. A Poplar world champion!! 🥇

Amazing end to the season for Poplar. Nine golds at Danson Dashes yesterday. 35 Poplar competitors, 25 events entered, 20 athletes went home with prizes. Bring on next year!

A tale of two regatta courses. One is the Royal Docks in east London where some of our scullers trained this morning. The other is the European Masters regatta course in Munich where seven Poplar scullers are competing this week!

Our men’s four cox, Kim, has been representing Poplar overseas in a single. She came 2nd in her event at the Pineapple Regatta on the Mystic River, just outside Boston. Pictured here with her prize of pineapple chunks. Done us proud, well done Kim!
