The Lands Department moved the central herd of buffalo across 150th Road to their summer pasture today. The move went well and all the buffalo crossed quickly, other than the youngest calf. At only a week old, he brought up the rear with his mom.

PBPN Planning and Environmental Protection organized a Community Earth Day Celebration on May 7 at Prairie Peoples Park. The event included a disc golf tournament, a race and fun walk, biking, family yard games, plant giveaways, and more.

The Land Maintenance Dept. has moved some manure to the south side of the corrals so that the community can come by and load it up for their gardens.
The Dept. doesn’t have the equipment to haul the manure, but you can take as much as you need without going into the buffalo area.
