Do Clemson fans not realize that in the grand scheme of all this, YALL are the ones that have a problem.
Clemson refuses to adapt to the new CFB and they think that going to the NCAA about it will help? You’re not a big enough brand anymore, the NCAA doesn’t care about your complaints.
Penn State beat Clemson, and these are my thoughts on why it matters for South Carolina.
Penn State’s 22–10 win over Clemson was decided the old-school way: running the football and dominating the line of scrimmage. Two coaches who directly helped make that happen are now headed to Columbia.
Stan Drayton’s running backs controlled the tempo all game long. Quinton Martin Jr. rushed for 101 yards on 20 carries, leading a Penn State ground attack that finished with 135 total rushing yards. It wasn’t flashy, but it was physical, efficient, and relentless, the kind of run game that shortens games, keeps defenses worn down, and closes the door late.
Up front, Deion Barnes’ defensive line overwhelmed Clemson. The Tigers were held to just 43 rushing yards, struggled to protect the quarterback, and managed only 10 total points. Dani Dennis-Sutton recorded two sacks, but the bigger story was the constant pressure and disruption that never allowed Clemson to find rhythm.
For Gamecock fans, this wasn’t just a bowl game, it was a preview. The same coaches who helped shut down Clemson’s run game, collapse the pocket, and control the clock are now bringing that mentality to South Carolina.
Barnes and Drayton didn’t just beat Clemson on the scoreboard. They beat them where it matters most.
That should get everyone in garnet and black paying attention. @CoachSBeamer@StanDrayton_@DBarnes_18
@RfRenegades “Enjoy it while it last.” In what way does this guy think it’s going to change🤣. He said it for himself, our worst season in almost 2 decades… and it’s still our state. I’ll “enjoy it” for a long time. History says the same.
@DavidGarnetnBlk @clemsoncam @TransferPortal Calm down little bro. You can say you own the state when you win again🤣🤣. The palmetto trophy looks good in Pickens county though.
@ChadW_FF@RfRenegades Glad to have you back is interesting considering for 7 years your fans wouldn’t even show up to the game in Columbia and the stadium would have more Clemson fans in it. But hey whatever fits the narrative.
