@ourptrights Is New Jersey too far for a safe transport considering the degree of life support she needs? I'd think would have to involve flight. By road it's 25 hrs min for a car, so to me any other transport is too risky. With her in such bad condition, probably not an option.
@bOcFUSS1@NickWilliams_98 I certainly hope so but with so much protesting and so many people saying he shouldn't be convicted on social media, I have doubts.
@HollowayGrant@NickWilliams_98 Causing issues. Everyone asked him for awhile if he'd leave and he refused. He wasn't supposed to be there. He also was already suspended for having weapons at school. He liked causing issues clearly.
@Momoreoluwaa Agreed. If something has gone wrong in their development, and you know they will be in pain and confusion and may even die young in agony, why do that on purpose to your child? Seems cruel and selfish. I can't stand loved ones being in pain.
@OunkaOnX Graduation speeches are supposed to be once in a lifetime good events for the graduates and families. Leave the political opinions like this out of it.
@jdmiles11 I don't know how anyone can doubt Karmelo was looking for more fights. He had a history of it. This also wasn't the first time he was caught with a weapon at school. He should have been expelled before something like this could happen due to that.
If my son was murdered and the police watched over him, mocking him, whilst he bled to death I would have agreed to release the footage too. I would do so knowing, hoping, that everyone would be so shocked and disgusted that it would bring about change. I would welcome comments about the state of policing, which is why I would include them in my statement outside of the court, especially from leading political figures throughout the globe.
I think we all know why the footage is in the public domain and itβs not to encourage silence and inaction.
The family wanted us to see what happened to their dear boy.
@Bob14583415@aj_inapi@MagaGrunt1 We need to hold the system accountable to arrest anyone who during protest harms another, burns buildings, uses it as excuse to steal and destroy. Protesting is fine, rioting is not. I was disgusted with our system during the previous riots where people lost so much.
@aj_inapi@MCW6d696b65 A lot of people in America (I'm American too) look for reasons to be outraged, offended, and get attention. Not just with race, although that's generally the biggest. I don't get it personally but those protestors want stuff like this to freak out about and are loving it.
@thintechgodhead@aedison We are! I find it ironic that other weeks the popular topics on X are complaining about food stamps, disability, social security for elderly, and their taxes being used for assistance. The irony. π
@GingerChin@KenPaxtonTX She is on life support, so has to be transferred with equipment and ambulance to a hospital that will accept her. All hospitals have refused the transfer request so far.
@JamesSwan1754@KenPaxtonTX They will allow a transfer, but all hospitals (25) have refused to accept the child due to liability and after seeing her records, condition, and the media publicity. Trust me, I'm sure the hospital would love to transfer the child and no longer be in the media hot seat.
@JuanMasGrande@JamesRaxz Pretty much. I have no issue at all with gay or bi people, but there's tons of issues going on with our country, we don't need constant parades to celebrate sexual orientation. I never cared about world cup and people will just be negative on the 250 due to political divide.
