Exciting News! 🎨
In collaboration with @UNCC_UG , we proudly present “Bare” — a solo exhibition by Nsimbe Grace, our very own 2024 Blackbox Fellow.
Curated by Marie-Franz Fordjoe, this exhibition delves into the audacity of vulnerability, the accompanying discomfort, and the unexpected good that arises from embracing it. Grace’s work suggests serendipity if we give ourselves permission to feel, learn, and grow through every experience, however challenging.
Using local materials and cultural elements, Grace's creative process centers on the African woman as his primary subject.
Don’t miss this transformative exhibition at Nommo Gallery, starting 16 August.
