At the Community Health partners retreat in Kalangala for all partners supporting the implementation of the National Community Health Strategy in Uganda. This is aimed at reviewing our progress in implementation and setting target areas of focus in the year ahead.

Uganda as a country is unique in many ways. Therefore we need to continue modifying our Community health strategy as per observations of what is working or not.

We also need to rally the community to own these interventions otherwise this can not be their work if they are not involved. This is the only way to build acceptance and sustainability for our interventions.
