The issue isn't about impeding the goalie. The issue is every team in the league have had their goalies impeded by Arsenal players this season, and nothing was done about it. They allowed those grapples, pushes, shoves and thereby set a precedent on how corners and set pieces were to be officiated this season. Chalking a goal off for impeding the GK, after setting a precedent to the contrary, on the most important game of the run-in and thereby deciding the title and relegation is why people are angry.

Man United are still 5th place and very close to the top-4.
And now the media and some fans are blaming 𝐑𝐔́𝐁𝐄𝐍 𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐌 (𝟒𝟎) for Man United’s crisis 🔴🤦♂️
➜ 3 points behind a team who spent €500M in the summer
➜ Fighting for 🇪🇺 places
➜ Team with most shots on target in the PL
➜ 2 draws after missing 8 starting players
➜ He was told there would be NO signings in January
The way they treated Ruben Amorim was 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐄 🔴🤦♂️
THIS is what Amorim inherited. This. He’s since been given 4 outfield players (1 being Patrick Dorgu) and a rookie goalkeeper from the Belgium league to fix it. We’re 6th level on points with the Champions league places. Can someone please tell me where the disaster is? #MUFC
Let’s be honest: Manchester United should be able to pick any 11 players, in any system, and still beat a League Two team. The problems run far deeper than just the system.
