The English police are apparently tired of apologising for the officers who handcuffed and left the dying Henry Nowak helpless. “He's dead, why bother digging in?!” we can read and hear while understood impatience is growing over the ongoing demonstrations against the state's white-phobia.

Meanwhile, the officers' attitude towards the death of the white teenager was neither the result of error nor it was based on personal bias. The officers were merely executing the Anti-Racism Commitment announced last year by the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC).

This document declares “Our commitment to racial equity means producing equality of policing outcomes for people from different ethnic groups by responding to individuals and communities according to their specific needs, circumstances and experiences, with understanding that these will be racialised and with the aim of reducing harm. It does not mean treating everyone ‘the same’ or being ‘colour blind’ (racial equality). Police chiefs explicitly announced that the police would no longer “treat everyone the same” and would cease to be “colour-blind”.

This is an official confirmation of the end of racial equality in the UK, emphasising that whites, as inherent racists, are allowed less.

Henry Nowak became the fatal victim of a deliberate and conscious policy of treating his ethnic group less favourably, approved by the British authorities, which some the ARC authors now call “awkward” and are hastily trying to rewrite the inherently racist document so that it does not confirm the British state's complicity in the crime.

Why are the demonstrations following Henry Nowak's death worse than those about George Floyd?

Why are those who were then so eager (and rightly so) to condemn American police brutality now criticising the “politicisation of the death” of a boy who, handcuffed, bled to death in front of British police officers?

Social liberals, demanding a “calm down” recently applauded the toppling of monuments and found understanding for the looting of stores in America.

This isn't “racial blindness”, but straight racism, just in an opposite direction. Racism and class contempt for the demonstrators, who are primarily from the English working and lower middle classes.
