We appreciate the partnership with the Kenya Forest Service (KFS), led by Forest Station Manager Mr. Kibenei, and the local community in advancing these efforts. Every tree planted is a step towards a greener and more sustainable country.
Yesterday, the Fund undertook a tree planting exercise in Sorget, Kericho County, reinforcing the importance of environmental conservation in protecting ecosystems, safeguarding water catchment areas, and combating climate change for a sustainable future. #PCFCsr
The activity aligns with the national call to grow 15 billion trees by 2032 & builds on our ongoing environmental initiatives, including mangrove restoration in Kilifi, tree planting in Ngong Hills, Kaptagat & Geta Forests, and school greening programmes.
