reminder for everyone to keep your hydrant clear. A 3-foot clear space shall be maintained around the circumference of fire hydrants.
Remove any snow and ice.
Clear a wide enough perimeter around the hydrant for firefighters to work.Clear a path from the hydrant to the street.

01.08.24 at approximately 5:30 pm #PCFD was dispatched to a two car accident on Highland Drive. Although there was significant damage to both vehicles, only one person was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Engine 33, Ambulance 36, and SCSO responded to the scene.

PCFD Medic Engine 35 and Engine 33 were dispatched to a small vehicle fire on East Canyon Road, just past the gate in the Jeremy Ranch area. Upon arrival the vehicle was fully engulfed. The firefighters were able to extinguish the fire with out incident. No injuries

10.22.23 12:00pm PCFD was dispatched to a two car fatal accident at Rasmussen Road and Bitner Road intersection. One vehicle rolled and the patient was ejected. One patient was transported by ambulance in stable condition.
Bitner road at Kimball Junction is currently closed.

10.19.23 At approximately 8:10am, PCFD was dispatched to a car vs dump truck on I-80 West Bound at Mile Marker 145. The passenger car rear-ended the dump truck. Due to the significant damage to the passenger car, the patient was extricated and transported to the hospital.

PCFD instructors, Bryan Grohovena, David Horning and Keaton Williamson taught a Confined Space Technician Course for several of Park City Fire District and North Summit Fire Firefighters. The Firefighters were all tested, with a written and skills test for certification #pcfd

PCFD has validated performance ability with a Task Performance Test (TPT). Every September PCFD Firefighters complete their TPT. The job of a firefighter is physically demanding. Firefighters must be in good physical condition-both at the time of hire and throughout their career.
