When someone tells you that you are too small to play in college…. Show them this picture. (And it’s not photoshopped) This is not a 15u summer tournament being held at UNC. This is a D1 game and this college freshman shortstop is 142 pounds. Not only did his team win 1-0. He started 47 games this season. So how do you get opportunities when you are small. Be a complete player. Skill sets, baseball IQ, situational awareness. Be as strong as possible in weight room, even though it might not show in uniform. Execute so well, in all phases … that your college coach, who is paid to win, trusts you the most to get the job done. Period. You have to believe in yourself, even when others waiver. Most colleges will overlook you or pass on you, but somebody, somewhere, will take a chance because you can really play. And when they do, the door is open… go beat out your competition and earn a starting spot. And in the end …. winners win. So be a winner on and off the field.
The “world”is forming us constantly. More now than ever!
But what is it forming us into?
We are each becoming something.
Beware of:
1) Associations… who you hanging with
2) Inputs… what are you letting (putting) into your mind
3) The Enemy… is working 100% of the time, where’s your faith
We are all becoming a better version of ourselves or a worse version. No one stays the same!
Keep Choppin! Be intentional! Plan for becoming better!
MSHSAA has been running a money grab for years. We buy the equipment, we record, we livestream our games all year. Then the postseason comes and MSHSAA wants us to still use our equipment but they profit off the people who want to watch the games.

As coaches, there are more important things than only coaching athletes to improve skill/ability. We must develop strategies to coach the heart!
Why coach the heart?
-> Our HEART determines our values
-> Our VALUES inform our decisions
-> Our DECISIONS determine our direction
Live streaming of home games will no longer be streamed through YouTube. https://t.co/0C3MboEjOz will be the place to watch our home games. Search for Pierce City, MO.

Nixa will begin constructing a $17 million indoor practice facility for its athletics teams, including football. 120 yards of turf space.
Would imagine there's going to be an arms race with these types of facilities in the area over the next decade.
