FGM survivors have lived experiences of how this practice has affected them. However, entrenched social norms has made progress slow.
Survivors are key in accelerating abandonment of the practice. We are sustaining conversations with survivors to #endFGM in Tharaka Nithi County

Changing harmful social norms requires strong movements of empowered girls/women challenging patriarchal systems from an early age. Through our #GirlGuardMovement, we are building confidence, voice and agency among girls through school-based mentorship and leadership development.
