It's confirmed, the academic research API access for Twitter will be gone after Feb 13 🪦

It will be replaced by the $100/month "basic access." Details coming on Monday.

Twitter Academic Research API will be cancelled.

Not only we will have to pay to access contents generated by Twitter users (not by the platform) but also to produce scientific results (not commercial ones) which the same company might benefit from!
