It was great to be able to attend the Cullen Breakfast in Wellington this morning with Amelia and Leo. The key note speaker was Ian Hill (former NZ Ambassador to Russia) and he was speaking on the the war in Ukraine. It was a very thought provoking morning.

It was a privilege to attend the unveiling of the new RSA memorials at McLean Park this afternoon. Thanks to Shinae, Erika, Gemma and Maddy for representing PC. Special thanks to Maddy for singing the national anthem in te reo and English.

Year 9s were welcomed to Whakarongotai Marae recently and had the opportunity to learn local history, haka, rakau and weaving. So good to be back after disruptions of recent years. To all that helped - Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou.

Congratulations to our Head Student Louise on the publication of her short story, Tusks of Ivory, in the 2022 Red-Draft publication. Louise’s story was selected from over 500 entries. It is a powerful told and stunning crafted piece of writing. Ka rawe Louise!
