Blue sky but freezing!! ๐ฅถ
Our members are back out on the MET Police picket line in Sidcup. This morning, Fran Heathcote, General Secretary, and Martin Cavanagh, National President, joined them and gave them their full support.

Headed to the picket line for day 3 of our strike against unnecessary, regressive and wasteful plans to force a return to the office for thousands of staff who kept the Met going during the pandemic and who save the taxpayer millions by reducing needed office capacity. #PCS ,

"Exploitation by these employers wonโt be ignored. PCS is with you every step of the way."
Fran Heathcote visited picket lines across Whitehall, standing with G4S and ISS strikers fighting for fair pay, sick pay and to be brought back in-house

"Let's be clear, the only purpose of outsourcing is to create big profits for companies like G4S and to drive down pay and terms & conditions of workers" - @RichardBurgon MP on the Cabinet Office picket line supporting our striking G4S members.

@MartinSLewis@LindaBurnip Society has been mislead about UC claimants via the press who demonise those with disabilities
The press punch down, plenty of evidence & statistics to back what we are saying
Disability can happen to anyone at any time during your life
Stop, take a moment & think about it

To those saying comments like "oh good more money for those who contribute nothing" - check ur facts!
40% of UC claimants are the working poor others are carers, have disabilities or illness, & some who don't have work, want it. A little more compassion & less judgement wouldn't hurt.
John McDonnell MP raised the fact that there is no mention of insourcing in the Employment Rights Bill and warned of strikes across government departments.

๐๐ผ This is a absolutely spot on .@YvetteCooperMP .@ukhomeoffice .@PoliceChiefs It seems to have become the norm to throw good pro-active cops under the bus and at the hands of the out of control / unaccountable.@policeconduct No wonder cops leaving in droves ๐๐ผ
