Teachers created real/imagined animals out of base 10 blocks to represent a 3-digit number in this K-5 Place Value PD. Great conversations around the many creative ways to represent and compose numbers!
More than 50 educators engaged in a K-5 Place Value PD last week all about standards progression and supporting students at each level.

This Perkins Elementary 5th grader built his class a tissue box holder out of Omnifix Cubes AND calculated what its volume would be if it were a solid figure. 🤩Fantastic real-world application of math! #iteachmath
