Seniors @PCTAProvidence using @figma UX design software to build prototypes for a podcast mobile app. They are learning about what UX designers do, how to become a UX designer and the various careers out there in this area of the design industry!

Last week our students produced a multi cam broadcast of our winter pep rally creating all the graphics, animations, and ran our cameras that recorded the event as it was displayed on the PCTA field house Jumbotron live! What a great hands on experience! @PCTAProvidence

Incredible week @PCTAProvidence Our students wrote and produced Episode 1 of PCTA TV in a day! All students worked together to get the job done and also learned a wide variety of tech skills in studio and in post production. They are excited to do it all again next week!

Students hard at work all week! 11th grade- video composition techniques/ editing with Premiere. 9th and 10th- graphic design/printing concepts with photoshop. 12th graders-using Indesign for page layouts! workplace skills happening here in every tech program @PCTAProvidence

Lights, camera, action @PCTAProvidence ! 11th grade students learn TV studio production. Students receive a hands on experience in positions that include Camera operators, technical directors, sound, lighting, and floor managers! Students also earn college credits!

What a productive week!@PCTAProvidence 11th grade lessons included various video editing projects using Adobe Premiere & creating energy drink designs for their own brand using Adobe illustrator/photoshop. Seniors started intro to animation using Adobe After effects! @pvdschools

Our graphics students won Gold and Bronze medals at the skillsUSA state competition in TV Video Production! Congrats to all students who participated and good luck at the national competition in Atlanta! @SkillsUSARI @PCTAProvidence @pvdschools
