Today is #RedDressDay, honoring Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (#MMIWG2S). We wear red to remember those who have been silenced, to honor their spirits, and to demand justice. Take time to pause, educate, and hold space today.

This week, 7 paddles painted by our students were gifted to the SC’IȺNEW̱ Tribal Journey Family during the Awakening of the Paddle Ceremony.

Pointing to the sky, they symbolize friendship and peace. We are grateful to witness this bond with the SC’IȺNEW̱ Nation.

What an honor! 40 of our students attended a "Conversation of a Lifetime" with the legendary @DavidSuzuki. A powerful dialogue on #ClimateAdaptation, #IndigenousWorldviews, and 90 years of environmental leadership.

Thank you #PICS & @DavidSuzukiFdn for this opportunity!

Hiking to the birthplace of the Caycuse Cookie in Ditidaht and Pacheedaht territory.
The Cookie comes from a 750 year old Douglas Fir, cut down in 2020 during the #FairyCreek #oldgrowth conflict.
A print of the Cookie now hangs in the Max Bell Theatre.
