Price tracking, trends, and comps for MLB top 100 prospect cards.

PC Mets & Mets prospects
when a prospect's card price moves a lot you usually wanna know why. added little markers to the bump chart on https://t.co/gLY3Dht0d6 for call-ups, demotions, and inactive stretches so you can actually see what triggered the move.
green up = called up. red down = sent down. amber = no recent games.

victor arias $25
gabriel rodriguez $24
breyson guedez $24
cristian mena $10
chase hampton $20
which one breaks out of the bargain bin first?
Kinda wild how Tong's card price has stayed so high through all his ups and downs, down 31% over the last 30 days but still too high for me to make it a buy. I'd really love to buy the dip but Its just still too high for me.

When I first heard the Griffey swing comparisons I was like no way, why throw that comparison out. But watching the last few nights (I’m a Mets fan), the way his bad gets through the zone does really look at lot like Griffey. He’s got a fan in me now, I’m gonna be watching more Mariners games because of him.
@SNY_Mets@SNYtv@WillSammon He clearly has some stuff to work on but the way this organization has handled him is infuriating. Hopefully it only makes him stronger and more resilient. Still rooting for Jonah and he’s still young. I have faith hes going to figure it out.

@CardPurchaser@RepkoJoseph I’ve never ripped these. Worth it? I’m craving something new to rip. But all those landscape cards are really turning me off to this product.
jonny farmelo rank 51, mariners cf. base bowman 1st auto dropped 39% in 30 days, $44 down to $26. at A+ he's running .239 / .370 / .389 with 16% walks and 78th percentile speed. market percentile 22, bat profile 47. 25 point gap. card overshot the cooldown.
eduardo tait bc 1st auto avg went $24 to $39 in 12 days, +66%. meanwhile .209 / .298 / .393 at high-A, 76 wrc+, 27% K rate. card at the 37th market percentile, bat at the 14th. MIN catcher, rank 36, verdict overpriced.
jett williams price arc held flat in the 70s most of may, peaked at $81 on the 18th, then dropped to $34 over the past week. -49% across the 31-day window, almost all of it after may 26. NYM, rank 78.
Some good deals coming through on the site right now.

It is funny that with all the fun I am having creating data visualizations on the @PC_Radar site the people just want to see the deals!
This is the is always the most interesting (and sometimes hardest) part about building consumer products, build for your users not for yourself.
Trusting the data is something I personally havce always struggled with and mone of the main reaosn I created Prospect Card Radar, its making me learn to understand the data and trust it over my gut, even though I really do think some gut feel needs to be blended in.

@gudstuffco I missed the early boat too. Started to collect some of the Topps pro debuts. Price point is so nice on these. Just wish the 2024 chromes were on card like the 2025
Charlie Condon is 3 days into a hot streak with a .476 wOBA and his card hasn’t moved yet. Delay clock median is 4 days. Tomorrow could be the window.
Eduardo Tait is today’s mismatch pick. 76 wRC+ but his card jumped 38% this week to $39. Market is buying what the bat isn’t selling yet.
Luis Peña, Robby Snelling, Joe Mack all flagged underpriced. Jesús Made, Leo De Vries, Trey Yesavage all overpriced.
12 prospects mid-streak with cards that haven’t moved. 3 already past the median.

@STLewis19@Jake_M_Garcia@12SportsAZ I’m sure that plays a role, especially the single ear flap helmets in the mlb. But I also see it a ton in the minors with the double ear flap as well.
Big shampoo is probably paying these players with nice hair to have the helmets fall off to expose the great hair. 😂
