We are very sad to see this beautiful old ash tree be taken by ash die back - very thankful that a lot of the wood was salvageable by local tree surgeons.

So far, we have planted 1500 #NativeIrishTrees on the land, to someday take its place!

This week we planted ANOTHER 100 #NativeIrishTrees!

A mixture of blackthorn, yew, spindle, apple and nut varieties, thanks to everyone's hard work!

Planning application now submitted for 32 houses, with a large common house on a spacious 10 acre site!
The houses are 1 to 5 bedrooms, detached and semi-detached. Living areas face directly south to maximise heating from the sun. [1/3]

Parking is centralised, allowing the development to be pedestrianised. We have planted 1,500 native trees along the boundaries, and there is an area for a shared food producing garden, complete with polytunnels. [3/3]

All houses have their own kitchens, bathrooms and living areas, but residents also have access to a common house, designed for communal cooking and eating with a kitchen, playroom for children, laundry facilities, shared office space and two guest bedrooms. [2/3]

... A lot of hard work has gone into the planning of this project by it's members. We joined later and are grateful for all the work they have done. We don't have children but it's great for people with small children as their safety is very much taken... (3/4)
