Today - 30 June - was the day that Capita was given by ministers to deliver the full terms of its £239 million contract to administer the Civil Service Pension Scheme.
As expected, Capita has failed to meet that deadline and we await the government's announcement on what the consequences of this failure will be.
If you're a PCS member in the Department for Education, make sure you vote to prevent office closures and job cuts.
The ballot closes on 21 July and the deadline for requesting a replacement ballot paper is 10am on Wednesday, 1 July - tomorrow.
