@GrahamSpiers When Don Robertson ended the match 37 seconds after the ball hit the net I believe he had simply made an allowance for the time taken by a ‘normal’ goal celebration and time was up (despite the abnormal situation of a pitch invasion).
@GrahamSpiers At Sunday’s Livi vs Kilie match, for example, there was no additional time added at the end of 45 minutes, despite three first-half goals and celebrations.
@GrahamSpiers The EPL’s guidance for referees even specifies a 30-second tolerance for normal celebrations before additional time would be considered. Scotland has never codified this in SPFL rules, but a similar discretion is applied by referees.
@NoLayingUp Very disappointing decision, as since joining NLU Kevin has been central to your best and most innovative work. It might help balance the books, but it will diminish your offering.
@KVanValkenburg That’s a real shame, your reporting and features brought something fresh and distinctive to NLU. The Majors deep dives, special reports, on-course reporting, blog posts, and of course the Gary Player impersonations were all superb. Best of luck in your post-NLU endeavours.
