Something exciting is happening in the PDRSA!
We are meeting with a group of ECRs in the College of Life Science and looking forward to welcoming new members and new ideas in the committee.
More updates to come!
(2/2) The symposium will facilitate the networking of ECR delegates throughout the day to team up and pitch interdisciplinary projects. The winning team will receive a monetary prize to fund some preliminary experiments.
Registrations open tomorrow and places are limited!
(1/2) if you are an ECR at UoL, check your emails: the PDRSA symposium is coming back!
This one-day symposium aims to improve research culture of ECRs within the College of Life Sciences, College of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities, and College of Science and Engineering.
Are you a postdoc/ECR/research staff member in CLS?
Check your email, we have invited you to the PDRSA free lunch, next Friday (May 12th), 12 to 1, in the @doctoralcollege space.
Hope to see many of you there!

@vickilou76@doctoralcollege The next one will be on Monday, April 17 but we suggest you ask your departmental rep to forward you the event calendar if you haven't seen it around campus! :)
Did you see the posters we put up around campus?
That's our social event calendar!
Come along to our Payday Fridays (at The Old Horse) or Coffee Mornings (in the brilliant @doctoralcollege social space) and meet other #ECRs :)
Congratulations again to @LSWisnom, @lorna_latimer, @vickilou76, and Robert Free, the winners of our ECR symposium Interdisciplinary project competition supported by @LeicsIAS.
They have put together a fantastic plan and we are looking forward to seeing where it will lead!
Today we are meeting the deans!
During the event, staff in the College of life Science will have an opportunity to meet Profs Andrea Cooper (Dean of Research), Tom Robinson (Head of College) and Richard Thomas (Dean of Doctoral College).
