Remember when Premier Ford removed all speed cameras? Well, theres been a record spike in speeding, collisions and DEATHS since!
If this isn't yet another example of social murder, I do not know what is. Premier, your policy has killed people! What have you told their families?
This is a massive miscalculation by Carney.
Bailing out condo developers who continued to build overpriced dog crate condos nobody wanted to buy is pissing off Conservatives, Liberals and New Democrats.
Prime minster Carney has passed a law allowing the use of banned pesticides. CBC reports that ministers can "greenlight any pesticide that ministers feel is in the interest of economic or national food security."

Doug Ford's office appears to have forgiven a staffer for repeatedly violating Ontario’s stunt driving laws 12 × in a cabinet assigned vehicle after the staffer told the gov it would “never happen again.”

NEW: we’re learning more about the cost of “Protect Ontario” ads to taxpayers.
FOI records show the cost for just one ministry to produce & run them last year was nearly $10 million.
The total the Ford government has spent across all ministries is expected to be much higher.
Factually incorrect. Oosteroff is only using electricity bidding contracts for Napanee, Kenora and northern Ontario to compare. Electricity prices for consumers under the PC government have NOT gone down in 8 years in fact they have gone up exponentially with Ford's inflation.
As Sylvia Jones closed public operating rooms, Jones allocated “unprecedented” public heathcare dollars to private surgical clinics. In 2023 Ontarians paid 3× more $4,037 for knee arthroscopy surgery at Don Mills for-profit vs $1,273 in a public hospital.
#WTF?
You did it AGAIN.
@PierrePoilievre is a coward and has to edit his clips to give the impression that he got the last word.
Here's the FULL CLIP, complete with the part he doesn't want you to see:
Tensions ran high & frustrations were palpable at a TDSB parent budget meeting Tuesday night, where parents pressed for answers on hundreds of staff cuts and program reductions planned for this fall.
But the Ford government-appointed TDSB Supervisor didn’t answer questions during the meeting & declined an interview with me afterward. Watch:
The RCMP announced a Greenbelt investigation in 2023.
It’s now 2026.
No charges. No public update. No explanation.
Ontarians don’t need a particular outcome.
We do deserve transparency.
What’s the status of the investigation?

Denial of the existence of gas chambers is a disgraceful assault on the memory of all those people: Jews, Poles, Roma, Soviet prisoners of war, and all other victims. It is also a slap in the face to those prisoners who risked their lives to document and convey the truth about German crimes, as well as to the Survivors who still bear the trauma of their personal experiences.
Holocaust denial has nothing to do with the truth. It is a mendacious conspiracy theory. A dangerous & hideous carrier of antisemitism & hatred that hurts people. Deniers harass & insult the memory of the victims.
Venus and Jupiter over Toronto.
The reflected light from Venus (the brighter of the 2) took 10 minutes to get here. From Jupiter - 50 minutes.
A rare chance to visualise our turning Earth and ever-moving solar system above the iconic city skyline.

1. Wherever possible there must be independent confirmation of the “facts.”
2. Encourage substantive debate on the evidence by knowledgeable proponents of all points of view.
3. Arguments from authority carry little weight — “authorities” have made mistakes in the past. They will do so again in the future. Perhaps a better way to say it is that in science there are no authorities; at most, there are experts.
4. Spin more than one hypothesis. If there’s something to be explained, think of all the different ways in which it could be explained. Then think of tests by which you might systematically disprove each of the alternatives. What survives, the hypothesis that resists disproof in this Darwinian selection among “multiple working hypotheses,” has a much better chance of being the right answer than if you had simply run with the first idea that caught your fancy.
5. Try not to get overly attached to a hypothesis just because it’s yours. It’s only a way station in the pursuit of knowledge. Ask yourself why you like the idea. Compare it fairly with the alternatives. See if you can find reasons for rejecting it. If you don’t, others will.
6. Quantify. If whatever it is you’re explaining has some measure, some numerical quantity attached to it, you’ll be much better able to discriminate among competing hypotheses. What is vague and qualitative is open to many explanations. Of course there are truths to be sought in the many qualitative issues we are obliged to confront, but finding them is more challenging.
7. If there’s a chain of argument, every link in the chain must work (including the premise) — not just most of them.
8. Occam’s Razor. This convenient rule-of-thumb urges us when faced with two hypotheses that explain the data equally well to choose the simpler.
9. Always ask whether the hypothesis can be, at least in principle, falsified. Propositions that are untestable, unfalsifiable are not worth much.

We must be crystal clear about a few points. Long Covid is not a "poorly understood neuroimmune disorder" with no biomarkers. It is a widely studied biological medical condition. Pathology spanning basically all body systems is well documented, with damage in situ across organs
Once again, Mario is lying.
The government isn't spending $600M to "undo" the Bill, they are spending to cover the costs that now won't be covered by the streamers.
The government announced $600 million per year in direct taxpayer funding to support audio-visual, music, local news, French-language, Indigenous, and equity-deserving content creators, shifting the burden from platforms to public budgets.
This is to fund programming, not to "undo" the Bill.
Stop lying to people, Mario.
Doug Ford has racked up the largest subnational debt in the world. No province, state or small country has as much debt as Ford. Ontario's net debt is projected to surpass half a trillion dollars, sitting at around $507.1 billion and he goes off on vacation for five months?
NEW: the Ford govt has moved to cancel all summer meetings of the committee that vets PC appointments to provincial boards & agencies.
The move came after opposition MPPs questioned two nominees who had donated a combined $13K to the PCs.
