PDTA has conducted its formal endorsement process and the Rep Assembly has voted to endorse first-time BOE candidate- John Pizzutelli, and BOE incumbent- Robin Scott. Both candidates bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and ongoing service to the PCSD.

This Tuesday is our annual Chicken BBQ Fundraiser to support the Barb Shapiro Student Scholarship Fund.

Dwayne and Stephanie kicked off the @nysut Rep Assembly today, which takes place in Rochester this year, at the Local & Retiree Council President’s Conference. They attended sessions on healthcare, workplace violence, and the new APPR/STEPS plans.

We are asking for 66 meal donations for PYS families. If you cannot attend but still want to contribute to our fundraiser, and help a deserving family, purchase tickets before May 9.

This week our @nysut Political Action members headed to Albany for the Legislative Department’s grass-roots lobbying campaign called the Committee of 100. They lobbied state and federal representatives to help retain professional enhancements we have fought for and won.
