An insider in Drake’s OVO team revealed that Drake’s Son Adonis was the main reason Drake had to get Molly Santana to feature in the “Iceman” album.
Drake asked Adonis if Molly Santana was any good ? Adonis replied “Yes, You’re stup!d if you think she’s not good”
That moment Drake reached out to Molly via IG DM and had her on the song “Ran to Atlanta”
Currently the song is topping charts , Great assist from Adonis 🔥
🚨 DJ Akademiks breaks down what it was really like hanging with Drake from private jets to conversations and a surprise chain gift.
Akademiks says Drake flew him out to Toronto on a private jet and booked 10 rooms at the Four Seasons like it was nothing 😭
🗣️ “Drake told me, ‘Yo Ak, I’m gonna send you a bird.’ I’m thinking he talking about American Airlines or something… whole time he meant a private jet.” 😂
Ak says the experience showed him the different level Drake lives on daily, joking:
💀 “Drake probably be like, ‘Yo this broke-ass nigga Ak.’”
The biggest moment came when Drake surprised Akademiks with a chain gift. Ak admitted he thought Drake was trolling at first because of how funny Drake acts in person.
😅 “I thought he was pranking me. I didn’t even react crazy at first because I thought he was gonna say, ‘Nah nigga, that’s my chain!’”
Instead, Ak gave Drake an emotional 10-minute speech thanking him and reflecting on their relationship over the years.
🎤 Akademiks revealed one of their earliest conversations was about the unique dynamic between them as the biggest rapper and one of the biggest media personalities in hip hop.
According to Ak, Drake respected that he could criticize him honestly without it coming from hate.
🗣️ Drake allegedly told him:
“When you criticize me and I know it’s genuine, it challenges me.”
Akademiks compared their relationship to LeBron James and Skip Bayless competitive at times, but still built on mutual respect.
🏆 “I’m the top media guy, he’s the top rapper. There’s no number twos.”
Ak also shared a deeper moment where Drake once told him that the real payoff would come years later when both of them are older and retired, sitting together reflecting on everything they went through during their careers.
🥃 Drake allegedly told Ak:
“One day we’ll sit down, have a drink, and laugh about all this.”
Akademiks says the conversation stuck with him because Drake understood they were never supposed to just be “yes men” around each other criticism and pressure were part of what made the relationship real.
👀 Ak ended by debating whether he should release the emotional footage and full speech to the public or keep it private because he knows the internet will clown him for being too since
🚨 DJ Akademiks says he spoke to Drake last night and revealed that Drake is genuinely grateful seeing fans ride for him online and in real life during this current moment. 👀🦉
According to Ak, Drake has been through a lot over the last couple years, and seeing supporters defend him, stream the music, and celebrate his wins has him excited and motivated again. 💯
🗣️ “Watching his fans go crazy for him and really celebrate this moment… that nigga was excited.”
Akademiks gave a special shoutout to fans who stayed loyal through all the narratives, criticism, and drama surrounding Drake over the last two years.
🔥 “If you running up the streams, supporting on social media, and boxing out the people trying to push narratives… trust me, Drake sees it.”
Ak also hinted that Drake will eventually personally thank the fans in his own way once everything settles down.
👀 Akademiks then announced he’ll be doing a massive multi day breakdown stream for Drake’s “Iceman” project, saying there’s a lot of hidden details and behind the scenes stories fans missed.
🎵 Ak says Drake’s work ethic stood out to him the most:
“He shot like 2-3 music videos in the same day. It really showed me his work ethic.”
🏆 Akademiks compared the current energy around Drake and the fanbase to winning a championship, thanking viewers for supporting his streams and recent live show appearances.
🇨🇦 He also confirmed he’ll be heading to Toronto for Caribana soon and teased tickets for his next event dropping later this wee
🚨 DJ Akademiks reveals Drake gave him insight on why he decided to drop 3 albums and what separates him from the rest of the rap game. 👀🦉
Akademiks says Drake never originally told him the full plan involved three different projects, but during a recent conversation, Drake finally explained part of the mindset behind it.
🗣️ According to Ak, Drake told him:
“This is why I’m different from these guys.”
Ak says Drake’s mentality is centered around consistency, longevity, and staying active while other artists disappear or spend months upset over criticism and internet narratives.
🔥 “Months later, while these guys are screwing up their face…” Drake allegedly explained that instead of sitting around dwelling on negativity, he keeps creating, recording, and dropping music.
Akademiks hinted that Drake views his nonstop output and work ethic as one of the biggest reasons he stays ahead of the competition year after year.
🎵 Ak also teased that there’s even more behind the scenes context about Drake’s recent releases and creative process that he hasn’t fully revealed yet.
👀 Fans in the chat immediately began speculating that Drake’s strategy is about overwhelming the game with consistency while other artists struggle to maintain momentum
Just to put things into perspective for y’all:
Fucking Michael Jackson sold 360k first week while being in a legal battle against SONY.
Drake is in a battle against UMG, spent the entire album dissing his own label, and is about to do over 400k first week.
History.
It just dawned on me that not everyone got the album release experience through Iceman Ep 4. I genuinely feel so bad for those that missed it. It was the craziest album rollout experience I’ve ever witnessed, especially live. It made the album drop 10x harder. Every music video flowed seamlessly into the next with live cut scenes to the CN Tower being frozen with projectors and all the fans gathering and turning up at the tower. Very artistic and fun. That’s how music is supposed to be experienced.
As most of you probably know by now, in the Marvel comics, Iceman’s real name is Bobby Drake.
So Drake is basically telling us he's Bobby Drake on this album.
But I don't think that's the only 'Bobby' Drake is embodying 🔻
Drake’s “Ran To Atlanta” (ft. Future & Molly Santana) is now predicted to debut at #1 on the Hot 100 🏆
It would become...
▫️ Drake’s 14th #1, breaking his current tie with Michael Jackson for the most #1 tracks among solo male artists
▫️ Molly Santana’s first Hot 100 entry & first #1
▫️ Future’s 4th #1 and 3rd with Drake

Michael Jackson's SuperBowl halftime in 1993 broke record for being the first show to have more viewers than the SuperBowl itself.
He was the only act in history where NFL offered to pay the artist, but it went to his charity at the time 'Heal LA' which helped struggling youth.
Avengers: End Game released 7 years ago this very day. Every single time I post about this film, people on this app give me grief. I’m posting about it anyway- I don’t care! This was a memorable in-theater experience, regardless of my current views of the MCU. This was a moment.
