🚨 Medical Report Manipulation? Hyderabad ‘s ‘ Mana Hospital ‘ Faces Serious Questions

A disturbing complaint has reached us from the family of a 66 year old woman admitted with dengue.

According to the family, after a blood test, the platelet count displayed on the hospital’s tab screen was 1.26 lakh/cumm, and the family photographed the report.

A few minutes later, the doctor arrived with a blood test report and informed the family that the patient would have to remain hospitalized for another week due to a low platelet count of 90,000/cumm.

Confused, the family showed the doctor the photograph they had taken just minutes earlier, which displayed a platelet count of 1.26 lakh/cumm, and questioned how the count had changed to 90,000/cumm within such a short span of time in the same version of the report.

According to the family, soon after they raised this discrepancy, the hospital reversed its earlier decision and discharged the patient.

This sequence of events raises serious questions. Why did the platelet count altered ? If the report was corrected, the hospital should disclose the laboratory audit trail showing who changed the report, when it was changed, and why.

We urge Mana Hospital and the Telangana Health Department @TelanganaHealth @revanth_anumula to conduct an immediate, transparent investigation, preserve all laboratory records and audit logs, and place the facts before the public.

Every patient deserves accurate medical records.

Some contextual rationale behind the latest order to avoid tender splitting: Some examples of poor, third rate quality low-value works executed by @chennaicorp since last year where it was just float tenders, dump concrete, and build something in empty space.

Picture 1 - a pavement built on Church Road in Mogappair East built by @chennaicorp in bits and pieces for the sake if it. It crashes into an encroaching building on the road carriageway.

Picture 2 - A concrete storm water drain in Choolai Main Road being built right over sewage. How will the concrete even cure and dry? Why is sewage there inside drains? Why the contractor doesn’t ensure sewage is blocked before executing work?

Picture 3 - Another storm water drain in Anna Nagar second avenue built without inlet channels. How will water enter these drains from road?

This is roughly the quality of civic works executed by @chennaicorp in projects split into low value works below Rs 10 crore approved by GCC council.

In contrast, the high value works above Rs 10 crore approved by govt see relatively better quality than the ones approved by GCC itself.

This is how misinformation spreads.@CMOTamilnadu, this is exactly how Sterlite was shut down, and how many major infrastructure projects were derailed through fearmongering.

This US$4 billion investment has the potential to transform Southern Tamil Nadu, connecting it more strongly with the Chennai region and potentially making South Tamil Nadu one of the richest regions in the country. Kindly take misinformation campaigns against this project seriously they can have serious consequences.

At the same time, generously compensate genuinely affected people and ensure proper rehabilitation. We simply cannot afford to lose a project of this scale at such a crucial time.
