This week, GGC is on Capitol Hill as part of CAFTA’s mission to support a stable and predictable trading relationship with our largest trading partner. With over $17 billion in Canadian grain & grain products exported to the U.S., certainty is essential for producer bottom lines.
Grain Farmers of Ontario is in Ottawa this week with an important message: When we grow, Canada grows.
Through Grain Belt East, partners from Ontario, Québec, and Atlantic Canada are bringing the voice of grain farmers to the nation’s capital and highlighting the impact agriculture has on Canada’s economy, food system, and rural communities.

GGC has joined more than 160 agricultural organizations from Canada, the U.S. and Mexico in calling on governments to protect and strengthen CUSMA ahead of the July 1 joint review. Canada's grain sector must be front of mind.
