On the occasion of #InternationalWomensDay , CM @Naveen_Odisha announced a separate Department of @mission_shakti for empowering SHGs of the State. Odisha will be the first state in the country to introduce this.
The strategy includes intervention for adolescent girls, community managed crèches, mobilization of mothers’ groups, half yearly screening of malnourished, special fund at panchayat, involvement of SHGs, engagement with men, annual nutrition survey & use of tech among others.
