@TheDZoneBBall@jakhary_33510 This kid is the truth!! He formally played with LeBron James, Jr. with the Blue Chips and might have been just as good - if not better! Watch out for this guy!
@Gabe_MaciasGTET@DevInTheLab@HoopsEurope@bballbreakdown Technically, these are BOTH travel violations “by rule” due to the dribbler ending their dribble with possession with a pivot foot on the ground which is lifted and returned to the floor prior to release for the try.
@mbrewtraining This is definitely a horrible in real-time and slow motion. Officials should ONLY call obvious fouls/violations and not have these “I got you” moments like we have here. He totally took away 2pts from this team in a tie ball game.
@NBAOfficial Why are people upset?!? He clearly pulls the defender to the ground by grabbing the jersey after his shot was blocked. Loose ball foul; TB are shooting (2) shoots if in the bonus or it’s side out of not. I think this official (who I think was just hired) makes a great call 🤷🏾♂️
@spencermorgank @OfficialNBARefs@NBA Player is allowed to jump into his shot; onus is always on the defender to remain legal at all times. I agree it’s not popular, but it’s the way the rules are written.
@OfficialNBARefs Foul; no travel. Player is legally able to jump into his shot. Defender moved A to B and made contact. No travel and offensive ball handler is allowed a gather step (0 step) plus 2 additional steps. Shooting (3) FTs
@MarkBeddard@GSWWarriorsNBA@NBAOfficial@NBATV@warriors@HoustonRockets He has to be in legal guarding position; 2 feet on the ground facing the opponent, he is then allowed to move obliquely to beat the ball-handler to spot; Ariza was never in initial legal guarding position, so when he moved obliquely, it’s illegal contact.
@tom69edw@NBAOfficial@NBATV@warriors@HoustonRockets ...game management. After his 1st Tech, his 2nd has to be something that is absolutely egregious and caught on film; ie throwing chair, flipping off an official...words really aren’t criteria for Ts
