PE Planning Tip: Evaluate how active your pupils are in your PE lessons.
Use a stop watch to time how long the class are inactive... Every time pupils are static start the stop watch. Pause it when they are back active. Find out what percentage of your lesson the children are idle.
Then look for ways to limit this - smoother transitions, shorter discussions, demonstrations etc.
