We are not supposed to disclose how we voted. Draw your own conclusions when I say:
I believe my job as a HOF selector is to pick the BEST candidates eligible each year, PERIOD
My role is NOT to manipulate the process to help someone who has been waiting a long time, or to punish someone arbitrarily by "making them wait" or anything else that might come to mind
Vote for the best candidates every time and you can't go wrong. If someone slips into a senior pool abyss, the HOF can figure out how to rectify that
11 of the 50 Pro Football #HOF voters thought this wasn’t good enough for first ballot. If they’re so convicted in their belief, whether he was mean to them (a real thing), or they think they should be the moral police, make your vote public. They haven’t and they won’t. Whoever didn’t vote for the best #NFL head coach of all-time, should have voting privileges revoked.
If the #Seahawks want to beat the #Rams on Sunday, they have to get to Matthew Stafford. This Devon Witherspoon sack on November 19, 2023 on the second play of the game, was the last time Seattle downed Stafford. He has 77 dropbacks this season with no sacks vs. Seattle and overall he’s gone 144 straight passes without being sacked by the Seahawks, almost four full games.
Since the zebras are such a fun topic right now in the #NFL, I though I’d help stoke the fire:
The referee for the #NFCChampionship is Clay Martin.
-This is Martin’s 7th postseason assignment, including 4 Wild Card Playoffs, 2 Divisional Playoffs, and this, his first Conference Championship.
-He’s been in the NFL as an official since 2015, moved to referee in 2018.
-Rams are 7-0 all-time in games he’s been the referee, including a Rams 26-20 win on 11/3/2024 at Seattle, where the Seahawks were flagged 12 times for 95 yards.
-The Rams are 4-0 on the road with Martin, including wins twice at #49ers, once at #Seahawks and #Texans.
-Seattle is 4-2 in games Martin has been the referee, including 1-1 at home, with a win on 12/18/23 vs. Eagles and that loss to the Rams.
-The last time he was the referee for a Seahawks game was a 20-12 road win at Jacksonville on 10/12/25 this season, Seattle was flagged 7 times for 56 yards.
-The last time he did a Rams game, was 11/23/25 this season at Tampa, LA won 34-7 with 4 penalties for 32 yards.
Big blow to the #Seahawks ahead of NFC Championship game, Seattle loses RB Zach Charbonnet for the season w an ACL. Charbonnet was part of their two back system with 730 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns, 6th best in #NFL, also picked up 2-pt conversion vs. #Rams in crazy win late in season.
After the #BillsMafia controversial loss to the #Broncos in the divisional round, Buffalo has fired HC Sean McDermott after 9 seasons and a 98-50 regular season record, he was 8-8 in the playoffs. #NFL
This is f’in common sense. Cooks catches it and is down in every way possible. McMillan steals the ball after the player is down with the ball. The only people still defending the call wear orange and blue and I get it. The biggest issue is they didn’t even stop the game to look at it further. Were the zebras late for a dinner date and in a hurry? Every credible, objective official has spoken and disagreed with the call. May have cost Josh Allen and Buffalo their only chance at a Super Bowl. #NFL blew it, end of story.
Anderson: “The replay officials in New York and in the stadium were looking at the play, they looked at all the angles. … They’re confirming the call on the field was the ball was immediately loose when it hit the ground … and control was gained by the defender.”
Mike Tomlin out in Pittsburgh after compiling a regular season record of 193-114-2, but just 8-12 in the playoffs, including losing seven straight. Next #Steelers HC will be only the fourth for Pittsburgh since 1969.
