It's graduation season! 🎓 At Prison Fellowship, we love to celebrate the accomplishments and growth of people in prison. In the month of May, we honored nine program graduations from Florida to Wisconsin to Oregon.
In this video, watch how these graduates' lives have been changed, and hear the words of encouragement they received for the journey ahead.

Great piece by @MarcALevin and Khalil Cumberbatch. #Iowa
“The underlying reason is simple: what deters crime is the likelihood of getting caught, not the length of the sentence. Many people who commit offenses aren’t calculating prison terms — they either act on impulse or believe they won’t be apprehended.”

✝️#HolyWeek continues today with this warning and promise from Jesus: “Everyone will hate you because of me. But not a hair of your head will perish. Stand firm, and you will win life.” —Luke 21:17-19
Hear from Prison Fellowship Academy Manager Brandon Boyce on a recent Prison Fellowship graduation:
"Today we celebrated 16 graduates from our Prison Fellowship class at Polk Correctional.
"I had the honor of sharing with the men about running the race set before them and staying focused on the purpose God has for their lives. Each of these men has a release date and will soon return to society. The steps they’re taking now—spiritually, mentally, and practically—are preparing them for success on the outside.
"We were also blessed to have two of our faithful volunteers join us. These volunteers have served consistently throughout the years, and their encouragement continues to make a lasting impact.
"We celebrated the hard work and commitment of these graduates. The worship team led a few songs, and for a moment, it felt like a church service.
"I’m incredibly grateful for our partnership with the Florida Department of Corrections. We truly could not fulfill our mission without their support.
"God is so good, and I’m thankful to be part of what He is doing inside the prison system."
In Colorado, anyone convicted of a felony is prohibited from ever serving as an assistant to a bingo caller.
Think that's an April Fools' Day joke? Nope, it's a real law.
While this law may seem amusing and even frivolous, there are thousands of others that can greatly affect everyday life for someone with a criminal record. As we kick off Second Chance Month today, you can learn more about collateral consequences here: https://t.co/iY2ULo4LO7
The “throw away the key” mindset isn’t just harmful — it’s unbiblical. As Christians, we know no one is beyond God’s reach, and our justice system should reflect both accountability and the possibility of redemption.
In this @RNS Service op-ed, NAE's @revwalterkim and Heather Rice-Minus of @prisonfellowshp urge believers to reject hopeless narratives and embrace a biblical vision of justice that rebuilds what has been shattered.

We are just weeks away from one of our favorite seasons here at Prison Fellowship: Second Chance Month!
It’s a time to come together and work toward removing barriers for men and women with a criminal record.
We are looking back at all that God has done with anticipation for what’s ahead in #SecondChanceMonth 2026!

Help bring hope and connection to a child this summer!
Through our Angel Tree Camping program, children with an incarcerated parent are connected with sponsors who generously help send them to a Christian day or overnight camp.

At 12 years old, Mary was already a full‑blown drug addict.
As the years passed, she experienced incarceration and was angry at God. But behind those prison walls, Mary encountered God and faced a choice: Stay in the darkness or step into the light.
That choice changed everything. Years later, she even caught the attention of @GMA for her amazing life transformation.

Toi's family found joy through @PFAngelTree gifts when her children's father was incarcerated, turning a difficult season into a season of hope.
From Angel Tree summer camps to Angel Tree sports camps and tutoring, Angel Tree opened doors for her kids! "[Angel Tree] meant so much to me, because I teach my kids to be happy with whatever you get; but when somebody goes above and beyond to do a little more, you really need to appreciate it,” she says.
Toi's advice? Never block your blessings. "Don't ever have too much pride for help." https://t.co/G3P0jcYL72
Second Chance Month is almost here!
“Ain’t nothing possible without God," says Don, incarcerated for 23 years, now living out his second chance by pursuing his degree.
We couldn’t agree more with Don, who, after receiving a second chance following his release from prison in Texas, is aiming to pay it forward by helping those in the position he once occupied.

Will you join us in praying for all those affected by crime? 💔May God bring them healing, restoration and hope!
And for people in prison like S, who recognise the hurt they have caused, we pray that God will guide them toward repentance, renewal and a brighter future 🙏
Our vision is to see a revival of the Church inside and outside prison that brings justice, mercy, and hope to our culture. Want to be a part of the mission? Get more info here: https://t.co/mTC3tYqdtB
