@TheBelieverJC 🙏 Thank you for sharing this verse,it calls us to lift our heads, not in pride, but in hope, knowing that redemption is near. Such posts strengthen hearts, anchor believers, and remind us that Christ’s promises are sure.
Leadership in Parliament must rise above personalities and factions. The Speaker’s chair is a sacred trust , a place where justice, accountability, and impartiality must prevail. As Proverbs 29:4 reminds us, “By justice a king gives a country stability, but those who are greedy for bribes tear it down.”
Uganda needs a Speaker who embodies integrity, ensuring that every voice in the House is heard and that decisions are guided by fairness, not favoritism. In the words of Micah 6:8, “What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
This moment calls for leadership rooted in humility, justice, and truth. The future of our democracy depends not on who occupies the chair, but on how faithfully they uphold the dignity of Parliament. #UgandaParliament #LeadershipWithIntegrity #ScriptureGuidedLeadership
This initiative is a watershed moment for Uganda. Fish farming is not just about food, it is about economic justice, household empowerment, and national transformation.
When wetlands are harnessed responsibly, they become banks of opportunity:
- Raising incomes through aquaculture enterprise
- Expanding nutrition access for families
- Creating jobs across rural communities
- Preserving ecosystems with disciplined stewardship
The challenge now is implementation with integrity. Let this vision not be lost in bureaucracy, but translated into real livelihoods for ordinary Ugandans.
Uganda’s abundance must become Uganda’s prosperity. This is the hour to turn vision into action.

Innovation is a gift from God, but its true value is revealed when it serves families, strengthens community, and uplifts humanity. The smiles and togetherness shown here remind us that technology must always be guided by wisdom and love. As Scripture says, ‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom’ (Proverbs 9:10). May every stride in smart mobility be a stride toward stewardship, justice, and compassion.

@norbertmao Indeed, Hon. Mao, this is the day the Lord has made. We rejoice not only in His gift of life but also in the hope and strength He renews in us daily. May His joy be our portion as we walk faithfully in His light
Congratulations to Justice Moses Kazibwe Kawumi (Deputy Chief Justice) and Her Worship Agnes Alum (Chief Registrar). These roles are not ceremonial , they are the backbone of justice delivery.
As Parliament reviews, the nation looks for more than titles:
- Integrity that withstands pressure.
- Leadership that clears backlog and restores trust.
- Service that dignifies the poor, the voiceless, and the marginalized.
Uganda’s future depends on a judiciary that is impartial, courageous, and anchored in truth. May these appointments strengthen the rule of law and inspire confidence in justice for all.

I hear the pain and skepticism behind your words, and I want to respond with both clarity and compassion.
Yes, the Bible was written by men , but men inspired by the Spirit of God (2 Timothy 3:16). Its message has endured for centuries not because of human agendas, but because it carries divine truth that transforms lives.
The accusation that Scripture is rooted in exploitation or manipulation misrepresents its heart. The gospel does not enslave women, children, or the poor , it dignifies them. Jesus elevated women, welcomed children, and declared good news to the poor. The early church was known for caring for widows, orphans, and the sick when society abandoned them.
True faith is not about begging for money or controlling people. It is about freedom, transformation, and love. Where religion has been misused for selfish gain, that is human corruption , not the gospel of Christ.
Sound doctrine may not always “tickle the ears,” but it heals the soul. And when people encounter the living Christ, they don’t find a “creepy religion” they find a Savior who brings hope, dignity, and eternal life.
I bear record, with John the Baptist, that Jesus is the Son of God.
Paul’s warning is piercingly relevant today. When people reject sound doctrine and chase voices that “tickle the ears,” it reveals a deeper crisis: a hunger for affirmation without transformation.
For leaders , whether spiritual or business , this is a sober reminder. Leadership is not about telling people what they want to hear, but what they need to hear. Sound doctrine anchors us in truth, while flattery leaves us drifting in deception.
True leadership requires courage:
- To confront error with conviction.
- To uphold truth even when unpopular.
- To guide people toward transformation, not just comfort.
As Paul foresaw, the temptation to dilute truth for applause is real. But leaders who remain faithful to sound teaching will raise disciples, not consumers and leave legacies, not echoes.
We appreciate Hon. Norbert Mao for this rich reflection on Noble Mayombo and the formative debates of Makerere’s student leadership. Such memories remind us that conviction, ideas, and camaraderie are the crucibles in which leaders are shaped.
At Prison Fellowship Uganda, we affirm that beyond ideology, true liberation is found in Christ , who restores lives, reconciles communities, and redeems broken stories. As we honor the memory of those who wrestled with visions of justice and freedom, we recommit ourselves to raising leaders who combine conviction with compassion, and who understand that freedom without restoration is incomplete.

Hebrews 2:14–18 reminds us: “Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might break the power of him who holds the power of death that is, the devil and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.”
Christ entered our humanity, faced temptation, and conquered death. His victory is our freedom. His mercy is our healing. His priesthood is our reconciliation.
At Prison Fellowship Uganda, this truth drives our mission: to proclaim freedom to those bound, dignity to the broken, and hope beyond the walls.

✝️ Pastoral Clarity: Christ Alone Saves
Matthew 11:28
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
A shepherd’s role is to guide, teach, and point the flock to Christ. But no pastor, bishop, or archbishop is the Savior. To expect any human to carry all burdens is to misplace faith. Archbishop Kaziimba’s reminder is biblical: our problems belong at the Cross, not on the shoulders of men.
Leaders do their part faithfully preaching, counseling, praying , but salvation, healing, and ultimate help come only from Jesus. Criticism that ignores this truth risks turning pastors into idols, when the Gospel calls us to worship Christ alone.
🔥 Declaration
- Pastors are servants, not saviors.
- Christ alone carries the full weight of our burdens.
- The Cross is the meeting place of human need and divine sufficiency.
- We honor our leaders best when we follow their direction to Jesus.
🙏 Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for faithful shepherds who guide us. Keep us from placing on them what belongs to You alone. May our burdens be laid at Your Cross, and may our leaders find rest in Your grace. Amen.
WISDOM THAT CRUSHES SATAN
When you become wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil, you provoke divine action.
Purity and discernment are not passive, they are weapons.
Then the God of peace Himself steps in to crush Satan under your feet.
Walk in wisdom. Guard your purity. Victory is inevitable.

@CEOEastAfrica Do insiders enjoy creditor rights, or must they bow to the pecking order of structured finance? The outcome will echo far beyond Arena Mall, setting precedent for how Ugandan law balances shareholder equity, creditor protection, and investor confidence in complex projects.”
@CEOEastAfrica Charles Odere’s dual role as investor and lender exposes the fragile line where equity turns into debt, and where courts and arbitration wrestle for authority. This appeal will not only decide Odere’s repayment but will also shape Uganda’s commercial jurisprudence:
"Friends, Ezekiel 33:11 reminds us that the Lord takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but desires that all would turn from their ways and live. While we may feel relief when evil seems to end, our posture should not be celebration of death, but sorrow that a soul may have perished without repentance. Let us use this moment not to rejoice over judgment, but to renew our commitment to proclaim Christ’s mercy, because His desire is that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
