Bryce Mitchell on Trump's White House UFC fight:
Our government is desecrating its role in society by entertaining sports. Our government is to protect and serve the people. Our tax dollars and resources are funding this operation. The government is supposed to protect us, not entertain us.
Carson Benge said he believes his steal of home today was the first he's had at any level, including college and the Minors. He simply saw the sign, put his head down and ran.

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to catch Ferris Bueller skipping school when you have to leave straight from the office to go play third base for the White Sox that night?
Aaron Judge:
Potential Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS). TOS is serious. There are multiple types.
Rare in position players. Jared Walsh and Mike Zunino are examples. More common in pitchers.
Recovery 9-10 months. Most never fully return to pre-injury ability, despite surgery.
Mamdani: We’re doing a citywide campaign to highlight protections that we have for trans New Yorkers across the five boroughs, because there are far too many trans New Yorkers who have been made to feel that they don't enjoy the full protections of the law in this city,. We want to make clear that's not the case under our administration
BREAKING: Donald Trump calls JB Pritzker a “dumb, stupid slob.”
Just a reminder that JB Pritzker just balanced the Illinois budget with a $0 deficit AND has signed relief for groceries and gas.
Trump is a 5th grade bully who apparently needs to look in the mirror.
Mary Trump: “Don’t waste our time running as a Democrat if you are not running on Supreme Court reform. And I don’t mean reform around the edges. I mean you’re gonna add 4-6 seats immediately. You’re going to implement term limits. You’re going to put in an ethics criteria and you’re going to make sure many of these most egregious decisions are undone”
Karl-Anthony Towns is asked about how important it would be for the Knicks to take a 2-0 lead in the series:
"I don't think of anything like that. It's 0-0, the next game is the most important game of the year."
As the story goes, when the #Mets drafted Lastings Milledge in 2003, Jeff Wilpon wanted no part of him. Jeff wanted the organization to draft Jeff Allison, but the Director of Amateur Scouting Director Jack Bowen, thought Milledge was the better prospect. I was told at the time that it was a pretty serious argument between Jeff and the scouting staff, and somehow, the staff was able to win the day.
I have always felt that Milledge, someone I covered during his minor league career, was handled terribly by the Mets, especially by Willie Randolph and the vets on the team at the time. I also feel like Jeff Wilpon played a role in that, as by the time he made it to the big club (2006), Jeff was well entrenched as the COO.
Milledge made his mistakes, sure, and was far from a choirboy. But I always found him to be a kid who was easy to root for.
Dear Scott Pelley: pull the entire 60 Minutes team together and go to MSNow and offer a package deal to recreate the show for Sunday night and call it The Hour
