@Mikey5Aces Mangum was banning close to 600 in a 10 game stretch and then he didn’t start three of the last four games. Came in today to pinch it and gets a hit. Sometimes you have to ride the hot hand and that means somebody else is not playing.

@GoyPatriarch @Pirates Especially right now. Mangum has batted around .600 in his last 10 games and they sit him 2 out of 3 after he went 4-5. Ride the hot hand until he goes a few games not producing.

We lost because we had 1st and 2nd with no outs twice and couldn’t move runners up. 5 runs scored was tied for the lowest number scored by winning teams in SEC last night. I do think Stone went a couple batters too long which contributed to a run scored, but we didn’t take advantage of opportunities.

@JoshW_Redleg Pitching definitely wasn’t issue last night. Even the homer wasn’t a bad pitch…guy just connected. Our issue is having 1st and 2nd with no outs at least twice and don’t move the runners up. Small ball could have one us the game.
