“As what is real becomes less clear, authenticity is something most people crave. This kind of “crisis of authenticity” can be averted as we take in and live out the wisdom of Scripture”
Delayed but not denied! Obstacles are opportunities- never give up
It was such a pleasure to serve as the guest speaker at the Yallahs High School’s Valedictory Service and Graduation. As a daughter of the soil of St. Thomas I encouraged the grads to use me as an example that they can do it too- and do even better than I have
Here were my points:
1. Have faith in God
2. Stay focused
3. Network
4. Use social media to showcase your skills
5. Do not give up when things are not going according to your plan- use your circumstances to develop skill sets
6. Believe in yourself!

Fat too long the country adapt a Scandinavian approach to primary education without considering the peculiarities of the Jamaican language situation. Reading was abolished based on false or misguided intel
Reading is to be returned to the primary-school timetable, says Senator Dr Dana Morris Dixon, minister of education, skills, youth and information, who yesterday acknowledged there is a literacy crisis impacting schools across the country.

Dionne Jackson-Miller is in a class all by herself. Senator Morgan was below par and lot of noise. Why the defense by the JLP why not defer to the public service commission to respond?
Great difficulty to open bank Acc. for alumni ass. Make the ass. a company. TCC needed. Crazy. The traditional schools had no such restrictions at those times and new schools are struggling to get off the ground @MarkJGolding@AndrewHolnessJM@fayvalwilliams
I cannot get past Holness’ abandonment of his grand governance promises, among them: 1. Fixed election date; 2. Job descriptions; 3. A Grand Referendum on multiple issues…. Unashamedly he has made no attempt to keep these promises. I also cannot get past his & the JLP’s decision to exclude the People from the process of taking control of our Constitution & their intention to centralize a disproportionate amount of power in the Office of the PM, more than currently exists, which is excessive. Nor can I get past his statutory certification issues, now the subject of litigation.
I also cannot get pass the intellectual laziness and lack of rigor that characterizes many of the PNP’s proposals. No one is asking for a line item costing, but the lack of information on how grand promises are to be funded is befuddling. And their steely resistance to show how these multiple promises can be executed within our known budgetary constraints, and historically anemic economic growth is counter intuitive.
Nor can I get past Golding’s hot & cold leadership on several big issues: 1. the election of the House Speaker. The PNP seconded the nomination which led to JH becoming the Speaker, a job that is, barring resignation, for between 4-5yrs. He then led the PNP in strong Opposition to her on grounds all known at the time of supporting her nomination.
2. The Constitutional Reform process. Failure to take a stand at the outset on the plan of the JLP, Govt to carry out the changes in phases & to defer the decision on the final court to the 2nd phase then to at the end of phase 1 & submission of a Report to say no and make it a deal breaker is poor leadership. Take a stand at the beginning, not the ‘end’.

If they won the election the budget would already have been passed. You would have to judge them on the next budget. One government at a time and parliament passed budgets
@NationwideRadio Ahhhmmmm, so what would happen if they won the election? Shouldn't a budget have been prepared as the government in waiting since we're on election watch and they want to form government? #JustAsking
