@SawyerMerritt @Tesla Loop removing drivers?

If you asked most people to name the most American-made vehicle, they'd likely say the Ford F-150. However, the F-150 doesn't even rank in the top 50.

In 2024, the @Tesla Model Y was the #1 most American-made car, with 70% of its parts sourced from the US and Canada. The Cybertruck ranks as the most American-made full-size pickup truck, with 65% of its parts from the US and Canada. In comparison, the gas-powered F-150 contains only 32% US/Canadian parts, while the electric Lightning F-150 has just 24%.

General Motors only makes their first appearance at spot #23 with the Chevy Colorado (51% US/Canada parts content). This notion that Ford or GM are the most American made mostly comes from marketing.

Spots on the Most American Made index:
• Tesla Model Y: #1
• Tesla Model S: #4
• Tesla Model X: #9
• Tesla Model 3: #21

Elon in the Trump Spaces tonight on moving to a sustainable energy economy:

"It is something we need to move towards; People can still have a steak and drive gas cars. I don't think we should vilify people for it, but I think we should generally lean in the direction of sustainability; I think Solar is going to be the majority of Earth's energy generation in the future. So you get the solar power and you combine that with batteries and you use that to charge the electric cars, and you have a long term sustainable solution. That's what @Tesla is trying to move things towards; But when you look at our cars, we don't believe that caring about the environment should mean that you have to suffer, so we make sure that our cars are beautiful, that they drive well, that they're fast, that they're sexy. Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y spells out SEXY. It's probably the most expensive joke ever. I'm a big fan of let's have an inspiring future." - @elonmusk

I created this Gmail for tenant stuff. Usually AirBnB blocks if I try to share Gmail directly, so I found going through X seems to work to initiate communication.

@shaawniaam @SawyerMerritt How do you figure deducing load capacity?

You think <5500 lbs is impossible for dual motor variant? (Dual motor could be at top end of the 8-9k gvwr rating.)

@ace @SawyerMerritt How can you know? Is this the Silicon Valley hotel configuration and not the Tesla Showroom configuration, or likely the SF Bay water-crossing test configuration? 🤔

@Addiedesignco @SpaceX amazing number of launches. Many are just one or a few satellites for other customers.
