🚨 THE LENOVO SERVICE NIGHTMARE: How “Premium Support” Destroyed My ₹1.5L+ Laptop (4 Times in 1 Month) 🚨
I am a freelance software developer based in Bengaluru. My laptop is my livelihood, not a toy. I bought a Lenovo Legion Pro 5i (i7-14650HX / RTX 4060) expecting reliability. Instead, I have been trapped in a cycle of incompetence that has cost me ₹1-2 Lakhs in lost revenue over the last few weeks.

📉 THE TIMELINE OF DESTRUCTION
This isn’t a “bad luck” story. This is documented negligence. Every time a technician opened my laptop to fix one thing, they broke something else.
1️⃣ The Beginning (Dec 25, 2025)
I requested a repair for accidental damage to the top lid/heater.
Result: The technician replaced the lid but CRACKED MY DISPLAY in the process. He admitted it, raised a new ticket, and left me with a broken screen.

2️⃣ The “Fix” That Failed (Jan 1, 2026)
A new technician came to replace the display they broke.
Result: The display was fixed, but immediately after he left, the CAMERA DIED. The module completely stopped working.

3️⃣ The Failed Attempt (Jan 20, 2026)
Technician visits to fix the camera. Replaces parts.
Result: Camera still not working. Case put on hold. My work is stalled.

Technician returns to finally fix the camera with a new sub-board.
Result: He fixes the camera… but BREAKS THE DISPLAY AGAIN during reassembly.

🛑 THE CURRENT REALITY
My laptop has been dead/under repair for over 6 days straight now, and unusable for weeks in total.
I am a developer. I don’t just browse Chrome; I deploy code and manage servers. This downtime has cost me major freelance contracts. You haven’t just broken a device; you are actively hurting my career.
⚖️ MY DEMAND
I am done with repairs. This unit is a LEMON. It has suffered 4 major hardware failures, most of which were caused by your own staff.
I refuse to let another technician touch this machine for a “5th attempt.”
I demand an IMMEDIATE REPLACEMENT unit (Legion Pro 5i Gen 9 or better) or a FULL REFUND.
I have already escalated this to your Head of Consumer Service (Nitin). If I do not have a written confirmation of replacement within 48 hours, I will be filing a formal case in the Consumer Court under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 for Deficiency of Service and Mental Agony.
